Board of Directors – Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Be at least 21 years of age
Be a Chamber member in good standing for a minimum of 6 months
Demonstrate the ability to contribute relevant skills, including leadership, governance, organizational development, strategic planning, or community relations
Be a U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident
Have no outstanding compliance, tax, or legal issues with the IRS, Department of Labor, or other regulatory agencies
Demonstrate ethical conduct, professionalism, and positive standing in the business community
Be willing to actively serve, attend meetings, and fulfill board responsibilities and time commitments
Uphold and support the Chamber’s bylaws, policies, mission, and code of ethics
Be able to represent and advocate for diverse business interests within the community
Consent to background and/or financial screening, as required for organizations managing funds
Have no conflicts of interest that would impair effective board service
